Community Needs Assessment Plan

Community Needs Assessment Plan

For this Assignment, you will continue to work on the problem scope for your community needs assessment plan. You will begin by creating a vision statement of what the problem of inclusion for individuals with developmental disabilities would look like if it were solved. A strong vision statement is only 1–2 sentences in length and clearly articulates the desired outcomes that you are trying to achieve. As you gather more information about the problem, it is common to revise and refine the vision statement. After creating a vision statement, you will consider how to prevent unintended outcomes/consequences. Unintended outcomes/consequences often occur when social change agents resort to implementing a quick fix rather than a long-term sustainable solution.
