  7. Discuss strategies for disaster recovery and include discussion on storage media options,
  8. Evaluate cloud computing considerations, to include cloud-hosted versus local installation

Q: Do I have to follow the template or can I write the paper however wish?
A:  You must follow the template and include all sections as outlined in the provided template.  Not following these instrucitons will result in a zero (0) for the assignment.

Q: The paper needs to be three pages long; does that include the references?
A:  3 full pages is the total minimum length (can be longer), to include references.   Any paper shorter than 3 full pages will be penalized.

Q: Do you want a specific amount of references? Or just any amount that helps us in supporting our paper?
A: At least 6 references would be appropriate for this paper.

Q: Do we use the headers that you provided in the template? Or are they just a guide in the paragraph format? Fundamentals of Healthcare IT
A:  You should use the headers, but replace them with your appropriate content, e.g., your title, your name, etc.  Section titles should remain the same as the template.

Q: Do we quote using direct quotations or paraphrase and when do we reference?
A: Anytime you are utilizing someone else’s ideas, you must give them credit via a reference.  This applies to both direct quotes and paraphrased text

Q: What style is this paper written in?   What style is the reference section written in?
A: This paper and references section are written in IEEE standard format.

Q:What sequence do we place the references in?
A: References should be listed in the order they appear in your text,e.g, the 1st reference will be denoted as [1] and the second as [2], etc.   You do not alphabetize your references.

Q: The template has two columns, are we supposed to use both columns?
A: Yes, this is the format of the majority of professional scientific journals.  Simply replace the template text with your text and it will preserve the formatting.

Q:  What font and size should I use?
A:  Please use what is outlined in the template.  Use the formatting detailed in the template and follow all the same character attributes, e.g., bold, spacing, indentations, bullets.
